ILX Seismic will turn site seismicity and building properties into design forces - equivalent lateral force and response-spectrum base shear, vertical and horizontal distribution, and drift - with system factors applied correctly.
Seismic design is a chain of parameters: site class to spectral accelerations, system selection to R / Cd / overstrength, base shear to story forces to drift. ILX Seismic is being built to carry that chain transparently, so each value traces back to a clause and the design category drives the right requirements.
Forces will integrate with ILX Structures for the lateral-system design and drift checks.
ILX Seismic is in active development and not yet released. The capabilities below describe the planned scope and may change before launch. Subscribe below for status updates.
